Punk Publishing launches at alternative festival

Punk Publishing, the guide to indie publishing by New Street Authors founders, Andy Conway and David Wake, is launching at a Birmingham alternative arts festival this October.

Friday 13th is Punk and Alternative day at this year’s Anchor Gallery ‘Show Me Your Birmingham’ exhibition. An alternative arts and culture festival running for one week from October 9th – 15th 2017 at the newly-refurbished Gunmakers Arms Two Towers Brewery.

Andy and David – who’ve published over forty books – will talk about the easy way to turn your writing into an ebook, how to make paperbacks, how to design your own book covers and set up global distribution at the touch of a button. Their explosive book tells you the most simple, cheap and direct way to become a publisher, with a DIY punk ethic at its heart.

The line-up for the night also includes a performance by punk poet Paul Birtills and a set by punk DJ Ne Mo.

You can secure your seat for this event by buying your festival ticket here. Your ticket also entitles you to unlimited access to ALL the week’s events, workshops, film screenings, music performances and more.

Plus, every attendee at the Punk Publishing Launch Party can get a signed copy of the ‘PUNK PUBLISHING’ book at HALF-PRICE (£5).
