Which genre do you write?

Psychological Crime Fiction with a liberal dose of the Paranormal, but I am working on a Children’s book as well.

What is the first thing you wrote?

The first story I can remember jotting some ideas about was a children’s story that I used to tell my youngest daughter. Come to think about it, this was about a young boy who finds out he has magical powers…now why didn’t I carry on with that, I wonder…

What is your favourite book written by someone else?

I don’t think I have a favourite, but I enjoyed the Tony Hill and Carol Jordan series by Val McDermid.

What is your favourite book written by you?

That has to be ‘The Puppet Master’, it made me realise that I could actually complete a book.

An interesting thing you learned while researching for your writing?

So many to choose from… visiting Nagoya Palace in Japan was inspiring for a section of ‘A Tale to Die For’, such a beautiful place. I didn’t know until after that the palace was burned down several times during the last couple of centuries…made of wood and paper, go figure!!!

An interesting thing about you not related to writing.

I have a degree in Complementary Therapies and run a cosmetic company with my daughter, Kate.
